Wanda Painter Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mrs. Wanda Painter, age 82 and a resident of Fancy Farm, passed away at 10:50 P.M. Monday, July 11, 2022 at her residence. She was a member of the St. Jerome Catholic Church in Fancy Farm, KY and retired from Garan Inc., then worked at Nancy's Helping Hand and Jackson Hewitt Tax Service. She is survived by her daughters- Kathy (Terry) Goatley of Mayfield, KY, Debbie (Steve) Wilemon of Plantersvile, MS, Lisa Walsh of Frankfort, KY, and Cindy (Shannon) Wilson of Mayfield, KY; two sons- Marty (Tina) Painter of Hickory, KY and Gary (Kathy) Painter of Paducah, KY; 4 sisters- Mary Ruth Dossett, Lainie Seay, Belinda Nanny, and Veronica Wilson; two brothers- Bobby Hobbs and Gary Hobbs; and 16 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband- Martin V. Painter; her parents- James Romie and Irene Burgess Hobbs; an infant son; a sister- Joy Ann Toon; and 3 brothers- Russell Hobbs, Fran Hobbs, and Tommy Hobbs; and a son-in-law- Pat Walsh. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, July 15, 2022 at the St. Jerome Catholic Church in Fancy Farm, KY with Fr. Crispin Oneko officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Jerome Catholic Church Cemetery with a meal to follow in the Knights of Columbus Hall. Friends are asked to call after 9 AM Friday, July 15, 2022 at the St. Jerome Catholic Church in Fancy Farm, KY. The Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield is in charge of the arrangements.
