Maxine Chapman

Mrs. Maxine Chapman, age 88 of Mayfield, KY passed away at 3:52 AM Friday, April 29, 2022 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY. She was born in Graves County on March 27, 1934 to Isaac L and Myrtie Arnett Bouland. Mrs. Chapman was a retired seamstress at Merit Clothing Company and Mayfield Manufacturing. She was a member of the Farmington Baptist Church. Mrs. Chapman is survived by her three children, Charlotte Chapman, Maria Williams, and Shane Chapman; two sisters, Margie Black and Betty Waggoner; three grandsons, Robert Ray Kaler, Wesley Kaler, and Jesse Thomas Chapman; and one great-granddaughter, Kylie Annmarie Webb. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Avery Chapman; parents, Issac and Myrtie Bouland; daughter, Sheila Kaler; brother, Edward Bouland; and two sisters, Mabel Douglas and Mary Haneline. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, May 2, 2022 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield with Rev. Ben Stratton officiating. Burial will follow at the Chapel Hill Cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 AM on Monday until service time. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Black, Justin Mathis, Kent Haneline, Keith Haneline, Joseph Waggoner, and David Waggoner. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Ray Kaler, Wesley Kaler, and Jesse Thomas Chapman. Final arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield.
