Joe Mac McClaran Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mr. Joe Mac McClaran, age 73 and a resident of Mayfield, passed away at 6:30 A.M. Saturday, July 23, 2022 at the Mills Health and Rehab Facility. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, worked at General Tire and retired from the management department at Pella Windows in Murray. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Army Reserve. Joe will be laid to rest in a small cemetery where our McClaran grandparents, great grandparents and dad are buried. Joe always loved visiting there and he was truly the favorite grandchild. Joe was a good son, a good brother and a good person, a great gardener and one heck of a bbq King! He did many wonderful things under adverse circumstances and we are all grateful for him in our lives. He will be laid to rest surrounded by our once large and boisterous but now small loving family. He is survived one sister; Ann (Roger) Kesley, Franklin, TN. and a brother, Dickie McClaran, Mayfield. He was preceded in death by his parents; Harry and Marianna Willett McClaran and three brothers; John W."Pete" McClaran, Joseph "Rex" McClaran and Thomas Glen Trevathan. Graveside services will at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at Zion Cemetery in Brazil TN with Rev. Scott Hartman officiating. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery . Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield is in charge of arrangements.
