Herbert "Hubby" Doran

November 24, 1929 - December 16, 2020

Mr. Herbert “Hubby” Doran, age 91, of Sedalia, KY passed away at 7:15 PM Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY. Herbert was a member of Sedalia Baptist Church, a retired letter carrier from the U.S Postal Service, and served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII having attained the rank of Master Sergeant. Survivors include his two sons – Vince Doran and Craig Doran both of Sedalia, KY; daughter – Karen Daniels of Sedalia, KY; three sisters – Sue Cates of Sedalia, KY, Jenny Harrison of Farmington, KY and Marcy Martin of Mayfield, KY; two brothers – Ray Glenn Doran of Mayfield, KY and Johnny “Tommy” Doran of Sedalia, KY; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Herbert was preceded in death by his wife – Barbara Smith Doran; parents – Charlie & Birdie Copeland Doran; two brothers – A.G. Doran & Darrell Doran; and a sister – Frances Henson. Memorial Services will be held at a later date, there will be no visitation. The Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY is in charge of the arrangements.
