Mr. Ernest Edward Kissiar, 81, of Sedalia, KY died January the 26th at 1:40 PM at the Henry County Medical Center in Paris, TN. He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, one sister and three of his children. He is survived by his wife – Brenda Allen Kissiar; two sons – Brandon Edward Kissiar of Sedalia, KY and David (Amy) Kissiar of Wickliffe, KY; one daughter – Margie (Kevin) Schissler of Ballard County, KY; two step-daughters – Amanda Brown Jordan and Emily Suzanne Brown both of Mayfield, KY; three sisters – Tresse Long, Brenda Stover and Linda Palmer. Mr. Kissiar was a logger by profession most of his life. He was born in Licking, Missouri on September 23, 1939. He was a member of the Mayfield Church of God for many years. Ernie was a wonderful husband, father, brother and all around awesome person that could always bring a smile to your face. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed. A Memorial Service will be held at the Mayfield Church of God on Sunday, February 7th, 2021 at 2:00 PM. Rev. Spence Pate will officiate. Friends are invited to attend at the Mayfield Church of God on Sunday. Due to Covid 19 pandemic the family request that all guest please wear mask. The Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY is in charge of the arrangements.
