Mrs. Mattie "Frances" Long, age 96, of Wingo, passed away at 12:20 A.M. Friday, February 20, 2009 at the Heritage Manor Healthcare Facility in Mayfield. She was the oldest member of the Old Wingo Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Wingo. She is survived by one daughter: Jo Ray, Lowes, three sons: John "Bud" Anderson, Wingo, Jimmy Long, Benton, and Billy Mays, Wingo. Seven grandchildren and Sixteen Great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband; Hobart Anderson, second husband; William O. Long, two brothers; Neville Mays and Sam Mays. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the Brown Funeral Home in Wingo with Rev. R.B. Mays officiating. Interment will follow in the Wingo Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 pm Saturday at the Brown Funeral Home in Wingo.
